Refund Policy

Our Refund Commitment

We want you to be happy with ClippyX. If something goes wrong on our end, we will make it right. This policy explains when and how refunds are issued.

1. Creator Plan (Monthly Subscription)

✅ Eligible for refund

  • You were charged but the service was completely unavailable for more than 24 hours.
  • You were double-charged due to a billing error.
  • You request a refund within 48 hours of your first payment and have not used any credits.

❌ Not eligible for refund

  • You changed your mind after using credits.
  • Individual video processing jobs failed due to YouTube/Twitch restrictions or network issues outside our control.
  • You forgot to cancel before the renewal date.
  • The AI did not produce clips you were satisfied with (results vary by content).

2. Top-Up Credits ($4.99)

Top-up credit purchases are non-refundable once the credits have been added to your account, as they are a digital consumable. If you were charged but credits were not added, contact us and we will resolve it immediately.

3. Failed Processing Jobs

If a video fails to process due to a bug or error on our side, your credits are automatically refunded to your account. You can verify this in your profile page. If credits were incorrectly deducted, contact us and we will restore them.

We are not responsible for failures caused by:

  • Private, age-restricted, or deleted videos.
  • YouTube or Twitch CDN outages.
  • Videos that violate platform terms and cannot be downloaded.

4. Cancellations

You can cancel your Creator subscription at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full Pro access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@clippyx.site with:

  • Your account email address.
  • The date of the charge.
  • A brief description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 24 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
